Frequently Asked Questions
Things you need to know about Aloha Clinics
What should I wear?
Dress for classroom instruction is casual. Our scrimmage games are worked in full black pant uniform with 2" striped shirts. A piped hat is preferred, but hats with league logos or patches are allowed. Sunday at UH can get cold.
Who Should Attend the Aloha Clinic?
The clinic is open to any level official who is interested in developing skills and making friends. All officials will benefit from the instruction and feedback from our great instructors.
I am not from Hawaii, am I still welcome?
The Aloha Clinic welcomes officials from anywhere in the world. We can help with some of your transportation but having a car in Hawaii is helpful. If you are getting a car, make sure you check with the hotel for parking rates.
Will housing be provided?
Housing will be the responsibility of each official attending. We have made discount arrangements at the Aqua Resorts. Go to www.RefereeClinic.com/Hotels for more information. Thank Dan Bayne for this service.
How much does it cost?
The earlier you register the less expensive it is. Exact prices are listed on our registration form.
How do I register?
Go to the 2017 Clinic Sign-up tab at the top of this web site.
How do I get to the clinic?
Costs are kept low by allowing officials to make their own transportation and hotel arrangements. These arrangements are your responsibility. If you are interested in a room-mate or car-pooling you may find one on the Aloha Clinic message boards.
What should I bring?
You should bring your uniform and materials for taking notes. Weather is usually warm so plan your clothing accordingly.
